This charming Cotswold stone, grade two listed cottage is perfect for a cosy romantic weekend, restful retreat or invigorating walking holiday. Dating back to 1676 it retains many of its traditional features with exposed stone and beams. Well-equipped and comfortably furnished to a high standard you will be able to relax and unwind in the country air. There is much to do within easy access of the cottage: walks, historic villages, National Trust properties and coffee shops. Within easy access of the M5, bus routes and railway stations, it is an ideal location for visiting the Cotswolds, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bath or even Wales!

The pretty local church can be seen out of the kitchen window and if you walk past the church, you can collect fresh milk, eggs, local artisan-made cheese, and other treats from the farm vending machine at any time of day or night. There are walks of various ability levels on the doorstep and you can be on the Cotswold Way in minutes. Not far away, there are walks along the local canal or newly paved path from Stonehouse to Nympsfield. Within a short drive you can choose to walk on the ancient commons of Selsley, Rodborough and Minchinhampton. Just down the road is Stroud, with a variety of Bohemian shops and eateries. It’s popular Saturday Farmers market provides you with all the fresh provisions you may need.

If you like shopping, then Gloucester Quays may be for you, or you may like to visit the huge variety of shops at Cribbs Causeway near Bristol. The pretty nearby towns of Cirencester and Tetbury have a great vibe with more classic shops and cafes.
